The Forsyth Correctional Center,  the North Carolina Department of Correction and the Forsyth Humane Society have partnered to bring A New Leash on Life to Forsyth County. With help of prison staff, the Winston-Salem Dog Training Club and other volunteers, we are helping rehabilitate dogs and men, one at a time. After a 10-week stay with the inmate-trainers, our dogs are ready for a loving home and available for adoption.
